About API of North Fulton

API of North Fulton began with a few moms who longed to create an Attachment Parenting community that was closer to their home and that offered more than just monthly meetings... Stephanie Petters decided to be the one who would get it all going. Stephanie became an API Leader in April of 2005 and formal meetings began in July of 2005. Stephanie led and continues to lead the meetings at the Cross of Life Lutheran Church and is always looking for more leaders to join the group. Attendance was slow at first, with an average of 2-4 parents at each meeting. With the addition of new programs and resources for the group, attendance gradually grew. Today a meeting may consist of anywhere from 5-14 families!

Today the group consists of 89 members and we offer many, many things thanks to the following volunteers:

Without these ladies volunteering their time, we wouldn't be able to offer all the services that we do. They would also love for volunteers to join their team! There are many other parents who are not committed to volunteering for something but who help build the community to be what it is today. They consistently come before or after meetings to help with setup or clean up; they consistently provide encouragement, support, and tips to moms in our online communty as well as in person; and they are always available to pick their brains about how to improve the community. Without any of these parents, API of North Fulton, GA wouldn't be what it is today.

Currently, API of North Fulton is facilitated by API Leader, Stephanie Petters who is the proud mother to 4-year old Hannah and happily married to husband, Mike. Stephanie is available to be contacted at any time via phone at (404) 432-9474 or via email at stephanie@apiofnfga.org. Please let her know if you are interested in leadership as well!
